TuvloTuvlo (“we,” “the app”) is a family habit app for parents or guardians and children, made by Skymesh LLC. It is designed to be local-first and privacy-conscious.
1. Who the app is for
Tuvlo is intended for families. Parents or guardians create and manage child profiles (for example, a display name like “Kylie”). Children do not need an email address, phone number, or public username to use Kid Mode.
2. Information the app stores
Depending on how you use Tuvlo, the app may store on your device:
- Parent display name and optional profile photo
- If you choose Sign in with Apple: your Apple user identifier, and the name and email address Apple shares with the app (which may be an Apple private relay address)
- Child display names, optional photos, colors, avatars, missions, completions, Coins, Stars, rewards, claims, wishes, island and Quest progress, and related family activity
- The parent PIN used to exit Kid Mode
- Settings such as theme, reminders, and device link preferences
If you turn on Family Sync, family data syncs through Apple iCloud (CloudKit) using the Apple ID signed in on each device. Skymesh does not run its own server for your family data.
We do not operate a social feed, an advertising network, or stranger-discovery features.
3. Photos
Photos you add for profiles are stored in the app’s local storage on your device. If Family Sync is on, synced data follows Apple’s iCloud handling for that Apple ID. Please only add photos you have the right to use. Any future photo features will be described here before they ship and will remain parent-controlled.
4. Reward links
When a parent shares a product link from a retailer into Tuvlo, the app fetches that page directly from the retailer to show a title and preview image. This request goes from your device to the retailer’s website; Tuvlo does not send it through our servers.
5. Children’s privacy
Tuvlo is meant for family use under parental control. Parents control child profiles, approvals, rewards, and Kid Mode access. We aim to collect no more from children than the app needs to work. If you enable Family Sync, use an Apple ID or Family Sharing arrangement you control.
6. Purchases
Optional Family Premium purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. Purchase status is checked on your device through Apple’s StoreKit.
7. Analytics and ads
Tuvlo does not include third-party advertising or tracking. If we add first-party product analytics in the future, we will describe them in an updated policy first, and they will never be used to build advertising profiles of children.
8. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. Household reports you export are created by you and sent through the share sheet you choose (for example Messages or Mail). You control who receives them.
9. Data retention and deletion
Local data remains until you delete it in the app (Account → Delete all family data), remove a child profile, or delete the app. Deleting all family data removes kids, missions, rewards, island placements, photos, the PIN, and related local settings on that device.
Deleting data does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel Family Premium in your Apple ID subscription settings. If you use Family Sync, deletions sync to your other devices when they are online, and you can also manage iCloud data in your Apple account settings.
